The beautiful Riverside town of Upton-upon-Severn welcomes both national and international visitors and is famous for hosting a variety of festivals and other activities throughout the summer months. The Town has an excellent variety of pubs and restaurants.

Footpaths abound in the area for the keen walker, (with direct access from the farm), with glorious views across the Malverns and the surrounding countryside. It is also an ideal base for cyclists, horse riding and fishing.

Located in the Heart of England, Gilberts End Farm Bed and Breakfast is an ideal touring and holiday base, (all year round), for the visitor who wishes to explore this still mainly undiscovered area to the full. Worcestershire, Herefordshire and Shropshire boast some of the most stunning views and varying and beautiful countryside that England has to offer, as well as being the setting for many, historic and unique towns and villages.

Gilberts End Farm Bed and Breakfast is set in a beautiful and tranquil area whilst giving travellers easy access to the surrounding towns, motorway network, and a myriad of attractions and locations across Central England.

The Malverns, are an 8 mile range of hills, the highest of the hills is the Worcestershire Beacon, with far reachThe Malverns not far from our B&Bing views as far as Wales and the Cotswolds on a clear day.

The famous Three Counties Showground is only 2.5 miles away with a full calendar of shows and events throughout the year.

Malvern Theatres is one of the country’s leading regional venues with many Pre-West End shows being played here.

Malvern Priory is worth a visit featuring one of the largest 15th Century stained glass windows in any Parish Church.

The beautiful Cathedral City of Worcester is very near to our B&B.

Set upon the banks of the River Severn and steeped in history.

Known as the Faithful City for the part it played during the Civil War, this City abounds with beautiful old buildings, atmosphere and charm.

It is famous for its Royal Worcester Porcelain museum and factory shops. For the sports enthusiast Worcester is the home ground for both the Worcester County Cricket Club and Warriors Rugby Club and their national and international star players. For the ardent shopper Worcester has excellent facilities and of course, for the more cosmopolitan shopper, the famous Bull Ring Shopping Centre in Birmingham is only a short journey away by train or car.

Worcester Racecourse has a Summer Programme for those wishing to enjoy a Day at the Races!

From our B&B why not visit Eastnor Castle

Eastnor Castle, is worth a visit located in the dramatic setting of the Malvern Hills and surrounded by a beautiful deer park, arboretum and lake. Unusually, dogs are allowed inside the castle on a lead and off lead (but under control) in the grounds. The Eastnor Estate is also the home of the Landrover '4 Wheel Drive Experience'.

Malvern is also home to Quinetiq the worlds leading defence technology and security company.

Croome Park Severn Stoke, Worcestershire

There are many beautiful Gardens open to the public in the area, including the exciting project at Croome Park where they are restoring the river and lake created by Capability Brown in the 18th Century.

Slightly further afield you will find the magnificent Witley Court which was one of the most palatial houses in Europe. Today it is a spectacular ruin, the result of a disastrous fire in 1937.

Severn Valley Railway Kidderminster

Take a trip on the Severn Valley Railway at Kidderminster, visit Droitwich famous for its Spa and the riverside town of Bewdley where you will find the West Midland Safari Park among the many other visitor attractions available across this beautiful County set in the Heart of England.

To the West is Hereford and its Cathedral which houses the 'Mappa Mundi', as well as the beautiful and historic market towns of Ledbury and Eastnor with its beautiful Castle and Grounds, and well worth a trip out is a visit to Hay-on-Wye famous for its bookshops.
